H.E.L.P. in Haïti

Franzie JEAN-LOUIS, president of (H.E.L.P.) and of Haitian decent, is highly concerned about the present state of Haiti and the extreme difficulties that Haitians are dealing with right now. Her family, acquaintances, and contacts on the island, will allow us to work on specific missions to aid the earthquake survivors. As of July 2010, she will be leaving for Haiti and volunteering at the orphange, « Fondation des Enfants d’Haïti ». She will also volunteer at other humanitarian organizations that have set up camps for the survivors.
The long term goals of Haiti Evolution Libération Prospérité (H.E.L.P.) are the following:

Promote Haitian-owned agricultural ventures
It is essential that Haitians quickly rebuild their own economy. Haïti Evolution Libération Prospérité (H.E.L.P.) desperately wants to help Haiti become autonomous and prosperous. Although the Haitian soil is fertile, it is often misused or exploited by international firms for exportation. Haïti Evolution Libération Prospérité (H.E.L.P.) wants to work along side the Haitian people as they cultivate and reap the benefits of the harvests for themselves.

Establish Cultural and Academic Exchanges
Haïti Evolution Libération Prospérité (H.E.L.P.) intends to create a network to facilitate cultural and academic exchanges between France and Haiti, offering Haitian students the opportunity to study in France. Upon returning to Haiti, these students will have the knowledge base to enrich Haiti by creating jobs and internationally acclaimed cultural activities originating from Haiti.

Support the economic development of an autonomous country.
Haïti Evolution Libération Prospérité (H.E.L.P.) hopes to form partnerships between French and Haitian industries. This will not only allow French companies to invest in Haiti’s future but will permit Haitians to learn from the French in order to improve their market activity with other countries.
