HELP a sa chanson !Le vendredi 5 mars,
Franzie Jean-Louis, présidente de
HELP, fut l’une des invitées d’honneur d’une soirée organisée par l’association Rencontre Adoption, au profit de
la Fondation pour les Enfants d’Haïti (FEH), ONG haïtienne qui œuvre au bien-être de l’enfance en Haïti et partenaire de
HELP.
Entourée d’une vingtaine d’enfants et de leurs parents, Franzie a profité de cette occasion pour tester sa nouvelle chanson :
Haïti, Libération, Evolution, Prospérité qui reprend le leitmotiv du colibri et son combat contre le feu de forêt. D’une voix chaude et suave, Franzie fait chanter les petits en chœur, raconte des histoires traditionnelles haïtiennes, et régale son public de quelques ‘negro spirituels’.
Lorsqu’elle culmine son spectacle avec le negro spirituel :
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child son intervention prend tout son sens, évoquant ainsi le sort de nombreux enfants haïtiens depuis le séisme.
Face à l’enthousiasme des participants, Franzie espère reprendre sa chanson pour faire un CD.

Rencontre Adoption tient à remercier Franzie Jean-Louis de sa participation à cette soirée qui a récolté plus de 1,000 € pour la FEH.

HELP, was one of the guests of honor at a venue organized by the association
Rencontre Adoption in aid of Foundation for the Children of Haiti (FCH), the Haitian NGO HELP is working with.
Surrounded by twenty children and their parents, Franzie made the most of the opportunity to try out her fantastic new song:
Haïti, Libération, Evolution, Prospérité, which takes up the association’s ‘hummingbird vs. the forest fire’ theme. The children belted out the chorus and were then treated to some traditional Haitian stories and Negro spirituals.
Franzie ended her show on a very poignant note with a powerful rendering of
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child evoking the plight of a great many Haitian children since the disaster.
The audience was so enthusiastic, Franzie hopes to cut a CD of her new song.
Rencontre Adoption would like to thank Franzie for her participation in the evening which raised over 1,000 euros for FCH.
